Instagram Civilization Efforts to Increase the Interest and Talent of the Young Generation for a Golden Indonesia in 2045

Introduction

Indonesia will reach a golden age in 2045 when the age of independence reaches 100 years. To welcome this golden age, all components of the nation, including the younger generation, have a duty to prepare the Indonesian nation to be stronger and more advanced. To realize the Golden Indonesia is closely related to quality youth. This is because youth play a very important role in the transformation and development of a nation. Therefore, they must have five important life skills to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 generation, the five life skills are formulated in 5C, namely critical thinking, creativity and innovation, communication skills, collaboration and confidence (Effendy, Muhadjir. 2022).

Lately, there are many problems that occur in youth, namely youth who are supposed to direct change in a positive direction but instead turn in a negative direction. This is evidenced by the rise of cases of youth delinquency such as a video showing a number of young people brandishing sharp weapons viral on social media. The Sukabumi police then intervened and secured 7 perpetrators (Alamsyah, Syahdan. 2023) Then other cases such as brawls, hanging out drunk, illegal racing (Prayoga, Ricky, 2023), and many other cases. When a youth is asked about cases of delinquency, the average answer is "fun". It is therefore important to divert the youth's change from the negative to the positive direction. The diversion that can be done for today's youth is through the internet. One application with the internet that is popular among the youth is Instagram.

Regarding all the background above, the problem formulation that will be discussed in this essay is how Instagram civilization can nurture the interests and talents of adolescents for the creation of the golden generation in 2045.

Instagram Apps for Youth

As time goes by Instagram is growing rapidly, even in this modern digital era there are many young people who like it. With the advantages that Instagram has, many young people in this modern era use Instagram for various reasons, goals and achievements. As a popular application among youth, Instagram has both positive and negative impacts. Some of the positive impacts are: First, Instagram can be a medium to encourage economic productivity with the creation of online shops or online product stores, many young people also have their own Instagram shop accounts to start small businesses with various works they make. Second, many Instagram accounts also create educational content and useful tips for students. Third, it can be a place to socialize for young people who may be limited in space and time to make friends (Ma'as, Ayu. 2022). While the negative impacts of Instagram include: First, Instagram can make teenagers addicted to lazy studying because they are too busy playing Instagram. Second, many Instagram users upload pornographic photos, so that many young people commit sexual harassment. Third, many Instagram users spread untrue news or hoaxes that can cause many problems and cause young people to believe and then be instigated by the news (Wijaya, 2018) All impacts, both positive and negative, from Instagram that can affect youth, of course, return to how youth use the Instagram application itself. Starting from filtering what content to watch or what will be made and paying attention to the duration of time, do not let us get carried away so that we forget about the obligations that should be done.

The application of Instagram civilization in an effort to increase the interests and talents of youth towards a Golden Indonesia in 2045

According to the information presented, there is a need for efforts to be made in order to effectively increase the interests and talents of youth. Given the popularity of Instagram in Indonesia, this can be used as a way to develop the interests and talents of youth through educational content on Instagram. Good quality youth is needed as the next generation to realize the Golden Indonesia in 2045. Therefore, when educational content is more than just inappropriate content, even unfit to watch, of course this will greatly affect the creation of quality youth in Indonesia. Because they will be easily motivated to develop their interests and talents. There are so many successful educational content creators who can motivate young people, because the majority of followers of these educational content creators are young people. This shows that they can have a big influence on Indonesian youth. If it continues to be optimized with this educational content, it can be a solution to combat crime committed by youth in Indonesia by developing the interests and talents and skills of youth on the application. Surely Indonesia will have a big enough opportunity to create a golden generation in the future.

Instagram application can be an effort to control youth delinquency. This can be done by channeling interests and talents and exploring information through the application. So, it is hoped that Instagram can continue to benefit the world of education. Instagram can also present a creative and innovative young generation. Therefore, it can be the most important prerequisite for realizing a golden Indonesia in 2045.
